Pastor Carolyn began ministry at Grace in July 2026. She was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where she grew up in a small ELCA Lutheran church.

Pastor Carolyn graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and worked as a Department of Justice paralegal until beginning seminary. In seminary, Pastor Carolyn completed an emphasis in Biblical Studies. She also met her spouse, Hyunmin Park.

In 2022 Pastor Carolyn was ordained and began ministry at Salem Lutheran Church in Catonsville as associate pastor.

Pastor Carolyn’s interests include Christian art and iconography, running, reading, and cross stitching. Carolyn and Min recently welcomed their daughter Julian in January 2026.

Mesfin serves as Grace’s Parish Administrator. He can be reached by calling the church office from 9-1 Mondays through Fridays.
